Our mission is to provide outreach to our community through public events. We pride ourselve in showing off our fire stations and explaining the functions of each apparatus as well as the process it takes for each of us to become operators. Fire safety is important to us and the more you know about it, the easier our job becomes.

We’ve got your event covered.
The DCVFD provides stand-by Emergency Medical Services for large public events (typically over 500 attendees). We are typically available for school-sponsored or public events. The department does not offer contract or paid EMS stand-by services. Availability of resources for events vary.
