Wow. Looks great. I used to be a member at DCVFD and recognize some of the old names from the past. I'm a Firefighter/Paramedic in Pierce County, WA. DCVFD is where it all started for me at age 16, and now I'm 28. My first crew was Brian Battenfeld, Bob Hedge, Lisa Tirch, Laura Page, Johnny Carmoochie, and Ed Vanhorn at Station 10. Way to keep up with and set new trends in the Fire and Rescue Service.

Hello to all. Congrats to JR and Eddie for an excellent job doing the virtual tour of the New Squad as well as the Picture of the old and new Squads together.

I'm a volunteer fireman (Fire Police)with the Cortlandville Volunteer Fire District,Cortland,New York.You have an excellent web page.

I like the site so far, but have one suggestion. I would like to see a section related to membership telling what kind of Basic training one would recieve in order to ride the apparatus or join the department. I would want to know what kind of training would be involved before I would start riding the apparatus.

Correction on the wheel base on the Pierce pumpers, it is 197", not 211" other than that the site keeps improving.

Site looks good, sorry to see the old Rescue Squad 10 go away but I like the look of the new squad. I'm looking forward to access the live dispatch when it goes operation. I'm still with Bellevue VFD and the family (Sandy, Jenny and Christy) are doi ng great. Keep safe. Steve

My how Station 13 has grown since we moved from there in 1982. My sister Sharon and John Reynolds served on the VFD, and I had the lucky, or unlucky pleasure of receiving medical attention from DCVFD many years ago. Great web site...keep up the good work!!

Site looks great, but how bout some pictures of the stations & equipment. Been a long time since I've been in contact with anyone from DCVFD (with the exception of Ron Grief & the DeSantos)but I do want to thank DCVFD for the training I recieved (some of the best) it sure helped me get a job as a FF at SUBASE Bangor (I retired from there in June of this year) and am doing contract wildland fire fighting with a Type II tender - and hope to grow. Best wishes in 2000 to the best from an ex member.
